What do I include in my shipment?

  You should send only your slide and barrel to our master gunsmith. Please do not include the guide rod or spring.

Do I need to remove the firing pin and firing pin spring from the slide?

No. You may choose to remove the firing pin and firing pin spring, but it is not necessary.

How do I ship my slide and barrel?

Please follow the instructions below to ship your slide and barrel:

1. Pack your slide and barrel in a sturdy small box using as much filler as possible to prevent any damage during transit.

2. We will email you a shipping label, which you should print out and attach to your shipment.

3. Write your job number clearly on the outside of your shipment.

4. Email your appointed service agent to let them know that your package is ready for pickup. They will schedule UPS to pick up your shipment from your home.

If you follow these steps, your shipment should arrive at its destination safely and on time. However, Innovative Arms is not responsible for lost or stolen items.  

How does Innovative Arms send shipments?

We use two shipping carriers, USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground, and all shipments come with insurance and require a signature for delivery. Innovative Arms is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

What’s the current turnaround time?

There is no time frame given. Our highly skilled master gunsmiths provide exceptional services that require meticulous attention to detail and time. While we cannot guarantee a specific or fast turnaround time, we assure our clients of a superior product when it is completed. Please do not hesitate to contact your assigned service agent for an estimate of the timeframe for your service. 

How do I know if my Kel-Tec P3AT or P32 is second generation?

To verify, kindly get in touch with the manufacturer. You will need to provide your pistol’s serial number. www.keltecweapons.com 

What other services are offered for these pistols?

None. Our company offers a specialized service in upgrading sights for a specific range of pistols. We do not provide any other services for these pistols. 

Can I purchase a silencer for my pistol?

  The Slingshot Ti .22 suppresses the Ruger LCP II pistol chambered in 22 LR with an extended 1/2×28 barrel from Ruger. Currently, there are no extended factory barrels available for the other models. Please contact your assigned service agent for the silencer details.

What sights are used in the upgrade?

Are there any sight options?

No. The current configuration of sights being offered is unique and is not offered by us in any other form. 

Are the sights available for purchase without installation?

No. The sights are only offered as a complete upgrade to your slide (both front and rear sight installation).

Are the sights adjustable?

The rear sight is adjustable for windage.

Can the sights be installed on the Ruger LCP “custom” model?

No. Ruger’s “custom” model slide is incompatible with our sight upgrade..  

My slide is engraved, will installing the sights affect the engraving ?

Do I need to send the barrel even if I don’t want it polished?

Yes. The barrel must be included in your shipment to ensure proper fit after installing the sights and refinishing the slide. Failure to do so may result in fitting issues with the slide.  

What’s the benefit of polishing the barrel and feed ramp?

Polishing the feed ramp can improve ammo feed, but polishing the barrel only enhances appearance.  

Does the slide have to be refinished?

Yes, unless the slide is stainless steel, refinishing is necessary. It’s important to note that some owners may mistake chrome for stainless steel, which would also require refinishing. If you’re unsure whether your slide is made of stainless steel, we can confirm when we receive it. Alternatively, you can contact Ruger and provide them with your pistol’s serial number for verification.

Is there a price break for a stainless slide that is not being refinished?

No, the price remains unchanged. All stainless steel slides will undergo glass bead blasting to achieve an even sheen after the machining process for the sights. .

I have a Chrome slide. Will the slide still need to be refinished?

Yes. When installing the sights on the slide, the chrome finish will be compromised, and the entire slide must be refinished to prevent rust. 

Which is a better finish, parkerizing or moly resin?

Both parkerizing and the moly resin finish are equally, if not more durable than the factory finish. In fact, parkerizing and the moly resin finish in Satin Black color are almost indistinguishable from the factory finish. The moly resin finish is the more popular of the two finishes because it wears better in the concealed carry environment.

What’s the difference between the moly resin colors finishes, other than just the color difference?

All colors of moly resin have the same level of durability. However, it is worth noting that lighter colors may show dirt and residue more easily when compared to darker colors.
