What ammunition should I use?

You can use almost any newly manufactured non-corrosive factory ammunition as long as it is 5.56mm on down as defined by NATO standards in size, velocity, energy, and pressure, and is the correct ammunition for the firearm. DO NOT USE HANDLOADS.

Example of ammunition that you can use:

• 5.56
• 22 ARC
• .223
• .22-250
• .22lr
• .22mag
• 17.hmr
• 5.7×28

DO NOT USE THIS AMMO!

Do not use any ammo over 5.56mm as defined by NATO standards in size, velocity, energy, and pressure. Do not use reloaded ammunition.

Example of ammo that CANNOT be used:

• 6.5 Creedmoor 
• 6MM
