What ammunition should I use?
You can use almost any newly manufactured factory ammunition as long as it is .45 ACP on down as defined by NATO standards in size, velocity, energy, and pressure, and is the correct ammunition for the firearm. DO NOT USE HANDLOADS. Do not use a crush washer.
Example of ammunition that you CAN use:
- .45 cal
- .40 cal
- .44 Special
- 9mm
- 38 Special
- .45-70 subsonic only
- 300 blk subsonic only (*do not use standard or high velocity)
- .450 Bushmaster subsonic only (*do not use standard or high velocity)
- .22lr
Do not use +P or +P+ ammo *Plus Pressure. The Ammunition is loaded to higher pressures and velocities than standard Ammunition.
