Write Your Review This is my third product from IA perfect size still able to use factory sights. I purchased this Slingshot .22 suppressor to mount on my S&W M&P 5.7mm and S&W M&P 22 Compact pistols and I couldn't be any more pleased. This tiny can is a dependable, user-serviceable suppressor, and it performs flawlessly with any 5.7mm and .22LR ammo. We have experienced zero (0) issues with this suppressor, no PoA/PoI shifts, and the sound reduction is excellent. The entire staff at Innovative Arms is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and very friendly. BRAVO ZULU! Instagram review by @PewCulture and @_jaytheshooter Innovative Arms has amazing products. I run it on four different guns and it performs flawlessly. Very quiet for a micro size suppressor and easy to clean. I own four .22 suppressors and this one is my favorite. It's very small and quiet but seriously tough. There are no vent holes in the baffle core to collect build up, so cleaning is pretty easy. Quiet and teeny tiny. Just what I wanted. Thanks IA! So when I ordered the Slingshot 22 <span class="ver" title="This form is usually attached to the following word, e.g.: multicultural.">multi <span class="ver" title="Please check. Do you mean to? (the word ti refers to a musical note).">Ti, I was surprised at its amazing size. I was worried at first that it wouldn't suppress very well, but after taking it out, I was very pleasantly surprised. On my Ruger 22/45 lite, I can hear the slide chamber a new round more than I can hear the bullet leave the barrel. This makes my pistol almost "Hollywood quiet". Great suppressor and very easy <span class="ver" title="If you mean "excessively", write too.">to clean. Thank you for such a wonderful product. Quick Start Info
If you have any questions, do not use this product, and contact us for clarification.
Read before using your Slingshot
- What’s in the box? Your silencer comes with everything needed for a standard .22 firearm with a threaded barrel right out of the box (not for use with .223). The box includes the suppressor, decal QR code, and direct link to information online. The thread pitch of the silencer is listed on the silencer box.
- Safety first! Before you install your silencer to the firearm make sure the firearm is unloaded, the magazine is removed, the bolt/chamber is open and locked back and you have visually and physically checked that the firearm is unloaded. Keep the firearm pointed in a safe direction at all times.
- For the first install of your silencer onto each firearm, we recommend that you have a qualified gunsmith install your silencer and check the bore alignment before you shoot it. This should be performed with every firearm that you will be shooting your silencer on for the first time.
- Do not use a crush washer of any kind.
Quick Start
- Thread your silencer onto the clean threads of the firearm barrel hand tight.
- DO NOT USE A CRUSH WASHER OF ANY KIND.
- Check bore alignment by using a bore gauge.
- During your shooting session, periodically stop and check that your silencer is still tightly secured to the firearm barrel. Make sure the firearm is unloaded and use a heat-resistant glove, it’s hot.
Cleaning your Slingshot, Slingshot Micro and Slingshot Ti .22
Proper cleaning of your silencer is imperative for a long life span and to maintain the ability to disassemble the silencer for cleaning or servicing. Cleaning should be performed after every shooting session. DO NOT exceed 300 rounds per shooting session before cleaning. It is important to make sure that both your silencer threads and barrel threads are clean before attaching your silencer to the barrel.
It is recommended that you disassemble the silencer once you are done shooting, even if you don’t have the time for cleaning. This will keep the tube and core from seizing together during the expansion/contraction from the suppressor cooling off from use. Make sure that your firearm is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction. Use a heat-resistant glove if needed. Please contact us if you have any questions.
If you feel that there is a lot of build-up, we recommend soaking your silencer for a few hours in a gun solvent before cleaning it by hand. You may also use an ultrasonic cleaner. If you choose to use an ultrasonic cleaner, we suggest suspending the silencer so that it does not touch the bottom or sides of the container.
Remove the core from the tube body.
Hold the silencer upright and unscrew the retaining nut from the back of the silencer.
Grasp the tube body firmly. Using your thumb or the palm of your hand, push the core threads up into the tube about ¼” until the threads are flush with the tube body. You can now pull the core out from the front of the silencer.
Clean the inside of the tube body.
Hold the tube body vertically over a disposable cloth. Slide the core in and out of the tube body while using a twisting motion. This will loosen lead and powder build-up and allow the debris to fall onto the ground or disposable cloth.
Wipe clean the inside of the tube body with a clean cloth and gun cleaner.
Clean the silencer core.
Wipe clean the inside and outside of the core with a clean cloth and gun cleaner. You can use a bristled brush if needed.
For more thorough cleaning, the core may be submerged in gun solvent overnight to break down the build-up.
*DO NOT use ammonia-based cleaners on the retaining nut.
